<p><a href="http://commonground.typepad.com/commonground/transportation/index.html">Commonground</a> leads us to a <strong>fun</strong> <strong>one</strong> that&#8217;s been mentioned in quite a few green blogs this week: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/03/31/chevys-make-your-own-tahoe-commercial-not-exactly-going-as-pl/">Environmentalists use the Chevy Tahoe online &quot;commercial-maker&quot; to create a stir</a>.</p>
<p>Fellow Floridian Harlan over at Greener Magazine explains how the <a href="http://greenermagazine.blogspot.com/2006/04/haz-to-go.html">Haz-to-Go hazardous waste disposal</a> works in Pinellas County. I think this might lead me to a best practice study, because they have <a href="http://pubgis.co.pinellas.fl.us/pcuweb_live/index.cfm">some really cool resources and events</a> on their site.</p>
<p>Check out the <a href="http://scalarparty.livejournal.com/139746.html">entire Carnival</a>!</p>

<p><a href="http://simplyinseason.blogspot.com/">Simply in Season</a> is a blog I hadn&#8217;t seen yet, promoting eating local food in season. I&#8217;d love to hear from readers on this&#8230;it is an interest of mine that I&#8217;m not sure if I share with other Miamians.</p>
<p>We are pointed to the <a href="http://www.buildinggreen.com/auth/article.cfm?fileName=150301a.xml">downsides of bamboo</a>, a traditionally very &quot;green&quot; resource, by <a href="http://commonground.typepad.com/commonground/">commonground</a>.</p>
<p>I was really disappointed to find out that a <a href="http://scienceblogs.com/grrlscientist/2006/03/who_are_the_real_enemies_of_ou.php">couple of Floridians shot two hawks</a> last week because they were bothering the golf course residents.</p>

That makes the embarrassment of showing photos of my decaying garbage all worth it!</p>
<p>Highlights include Groovy Green&#8217;s <a href="http://groovy.movingtonz.com/type/?p=636">cool link to a video</a> on some people who figured out how to grow plants &amp; trees in the desert region next to the Dead Sea. Jon Swift contributes an <a href="http://jonswift.blogspot.com/2006/01/whos-afraid-of-global-warming.html">incredible satirical post</a> on Global Warming. I found it very &quot;a la Daily Show&quot;, which I love. GreenThinkers talks about a <a href="http://www.greenthinkers.org/blog/2006/03/those_danes_city_bikes.html">bicycle lending program in Denmark</a> that I think is a great Biz Idea and will highlight again soon.</p>
