Head on over to Whole Foods in Aventura (map) this Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 12 – 3pm. Pick up a FEED bag and get it personalized by  local artists Jordan Thompson and Katiana Quinones from Fine Print Silkscreen of Miami at no additional cost.  Jean Michele Daudier will be performing live world music, with a focus on French-Creole beats.

If you aren’t familiar with the FEED bag program, it was started a couple of years ago by Lauren Bush to help feed the children of the world. (Read the whole story here.) The bag on sale at Whole Foods is the FEED 100 bag. By purchasing it for $25, 100 children will receive a nutritious meal in school through  the UN World Food Program (WFP).

So check it out and buy a bag, which is made from organic cotton and natural burlap, and feed some kids in need.
