I'm pleased to officially announce Miami's big Earth Day event that I am involved in: Miami Goin' Green will be held in Bayfront Park on Saturday, April 25, 2009.
The event will be a fun day for the whole family, and a great way to explore and interact with eco-friendly exhibitors and activities. Plus, Miami Goin' Green will be running off of green energy!
In anticipation of the event, we'll be attempting to set a Guinness World Record on Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22. A green vehicle procession (hybrids, EVs, etc) will take place from Bayfront Park to Miami City Hall. Pre-register now to receive more information on participating!
We'll be bringing you updates in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please mark your calendars for April 25th.

I’m sorry I won’t be able to participate in this event…I just can’t afford to pay over $900 to be a vendor. A booth at last year’s Earth Fest @ Crandon Park was only $150!
Good news – Miami Goin’ Green has lowered their prices for booths. $125 for non-profits with ways to receive a scholarship up to 100%. $395/495 for exhibitors & vendors.

Thanks for the heads up Rebecca!
