While yours truly is up in New York City attending Live Earth on 7.7.07, people across the world will be holding viewing parties and related events in their homes. (Throw your own party.)
The Miami Dade Public Library System is even celebrating with their Art Against the Climate Crisis event. Swing on over to the Main Library on Saturday, July 7 from 12 – 3 pm. It’s free. Here’s what will be going down:
Edwin Villasmil and Elba Martinez, the artists who created the Everglades Forever installation in Main Library’s 2nd floor exhibition space, will host an afternoon of exhibitions, workshops, artmaking, music, food, discussion, and a public art installation illustrating the potential effects of global warming on Miami.
Make art with Villasmil and Martinez; see a special preview version of Everything’s Cool, a feature documentary and “toxic comedy” about global warming from Toxic Comedy Pictures and Working Films; listen to latin jazz fusion with spoken word poetry from The Oscar Fuentes Combo; snack on vegetarian and organic treats, and more! Email the library to get on the mailing list and receive updates on the event.

We will also be screening live broadcasts of Live Earth on the big screen (in our auditorium) during most of the event!

Shortly after Hurricane Wilma, I began working on a combustion enhancement device that would greatly reduce carbon monoxide emissions along with other greenhouse gases from portable generators. Most consumers are not aware that one generator’s output of emissions is estimated to equal that of 100 cars.
Currently, I am cooperating with Met Labs in order to standardize testing procedures for products such as mine as there are none since the EPA has never regulated the smaller engines even though they contribute as much as 12% of the greenhouse gasses worldwide. I am hoping to have my product certified for safety and durability within the next few weeks in order to make the EnviroGenCat(Patent Pending) available to consumers for this coming Hurricane season.
For more information about the product I have invented I would urge you to visit www. EnviroGenCat.com or you may contact me directly @ 954-234-0018.
